BUCKLE UP, BITCHES

It's about to get REAL. Coming very soon (hours!!), to a television in my home...the return of Desmond Hume! While Lost has been very entertaining/interesting this season, an integral component has been missing. Oh yes, I'm talking about Des. His cameo on flight 815 in the season premiere was satisfying - but it was still just a cameo.

Tonight's episode is entitled "Happily Ever After", and is indeed Desmond-centric. ABC was kind enough to celebrate my #1 Scottsman's return by releasing a slew of promo pics. I affectionately refer to the one seen above as "Pure Sex", and here are s'more:

Click to make 'em bigger! Trust me, you'll want to.

Yes, actor Henry Ian Cusick is very pleasing to look at. But Mr. Hume's stories are so intertwined with the Island's complicated mythology that - I would venture to guess - he is going to be a crucial part of how the series will ultimately end.

And also..."The Constant". The fucking Constant! One of the greatest episodes of television ever, it had me bawling like a certain someone I know does while watching the Oscars. Desmond and Penny forever! It sure does help that I nearly swoon every time he says "brutha".

Ruh-roh...I think I've made Richard Alpert jealous! He doesn't look happy (but he still looks gorgeous). Never fear! I'm sure we can work something out.

Rose: "Is it possible to love two men at the same time?"
Blanche: "Set the scene - have we been drinkin?"

The excitement begins tonight at 9pm. Or right now, if you count anticipation excitement. Only six episodes left after tonight...
