The Office airs its last pre-hiatus episode tonight, before the shitty Winter Olympics take over and ruin everything for a while. Now, I've very rarely made public my love for the US-version of this show. I've been a fan since the earlier seasons (ie. Homely Pam, Serious Kelly) and I really enjoy where they've been taking the show since.
Browsing around Television Without Pity the other day, I saw that they kinda "sublet" to Hulu for clips and some full episodes. I happened to be on the page for The Office, and right there waiting for me was a clip from last week's episode, "Sabre".
BACKSTORY ALERT! I'm sort of in love with sadly-now-former Dunder Mifflin CFO, David Wallace (Andy Buckley). I haven't the foggiest idea what he's like in real life (aside from being a financial adviser and 'part-time actor'), but oh man does he make me happy on the show. And while there's a very good chance we may not see this dreamy, bespectacled man again, I was thrilled beyond measure that the writers decided to let David Wallace make his possible exit without wearing his signature tailored suit:
And here's what I have to say about that:
But listen up, writers! You need to get David Wallace out of this current "situation". While I would never look a gift jacuzzi in the mouth, this fine corporate specimen needs to be at the top of some hierarchy/organizational chart. Please work on this. KTHXBAI!
